ABOUT MARYAN ST. CLAIRE
Maryan St. Claire is the founder and owner of Narrow Space Art Gallery in Newport Beach, where her wit, warmth, and unwavering belief in emerging artists have created one of Orange County's most welcoming art spaces. After spending nearly three decades at California State University, Long Beach — rising from office manager in 1984 to Director of the University Center for Undergraduate Advising by 2011— Maryan knows firsthand the power of mentorship and the magic that happens when people are given room to grow. Now, she channels that same dedication into championing artists at every stage of their creative journey, celebrating the colorful expression and genuine community that art brings to life. When she's not at the gallery, you'll find her exploring Newport Beach, always on the lookout for the next story waiting to be told.
