Sammy G is a late-blooming force in the art world whose life reads like novel – equal parts grit, glamour, and creative rebellion. Raised in Whittier and Huntington Beach as the eldest of six, she developed an early eye for beauty and balance. Her degree in Psychology from Cal State Long Beach gave her insight into the human spirit, but it was her innate aesthetic sensibility that shaped her path.

For years, Sammy expressed her artistry through interior design, real estate, and entrepreneurship, most notably running Sam’s Squeaky Cleaning for 22 years with precision and flair. But in 2012, a diagnosis of Retinitis Pigmentosa changed everything. Rather than retreat, Sammy leaned in. Her vision narrowed, but her creative lens expanded.

She began painting bold, abstract works that defied expectation and pulsed with emotion. Her pieces are elegant and rebellious, sophisticated yet playful. They speak to the tension between clarity and chaos, between what’s seen and what’s felt.

And yes, she won The Price is Right’s “Big Deal” – two cars, a fur coat, and a kitchen full of sparkle. But the real jackpot is her life: lived with style, humor, and an unshakable belief that it’s never too late to follow your passion.
