About the Artist

Joy Demain fell in love with color as a child, but her painting journey began twenty-five years later when she picked up a small watercolor set and surprised herself with what emerged. That moment opened a door she has never closed.

While living in Hawaii, Joy sought out teachers, workshops, and books that deepened her understanding of color, light, and composition. Her work reflects the expressive, joy-driven style that grew from those years of exploration and her deep sense of aloha.

Beyond her visual art, Joy is an actor, photographer, and accomplished singer whose performances bring warmth, humor, and unforgettable high notes. Her dual artistry — painter and performer — infuses her work with energy and heart.

Joy also accepts commissions and enjoys creating personalized watercolor pieces for collectors.
