SAMMY G THE ARTIST

Abstract Artist · Elegant · Creative Rebel · Unapologetic · Fiercely Original

About the Artist

Sammy G is a late-blooming force in contemporary abstract art — unapologetic, elegant, and wildly original. Raised in Whittier and Huntington Beach as the eldest of six, she developed an instinctive sense of beauty, balance, and boldness long before she ever picked up a brush. With a degree in Psychology from Cal State Long Beach, she brings a deep understanding of the human spirit to her work.

For years, Sammy expressed her creativity through interior design, real estate, and entrepreneurship — including running Sam’s Squeaky Cleaning for 22 years with precision, humor, and unmistakable flair. But in 2012, a diagnosis of Retinitis Pigmentosa shifted her world. Instead of shrinking her vision, it expanded her artistry.

Sammy began painting abstract works that pulse with emotion and contradiction — elegant yet rebellious, whimsical yet sophisticated. Her pieces explore the tension between clarity and chaos, between what is seen and what is deeply felt. She works primarily in acrylic and oil, creating whimsical abstract art that carries her signature blend of wit, courage, and creative defiance.

And yes — she once won The Price is Right’s “Big Deal,” walking away with two cars, a fur coat, and a kitchen full of sparkle. But the real prize is her life itself: lived boldly, stylishly, and on her own terms.

Sammy G paints with heart, humor, and a wink — inviting viewers to see the world differently, and to embrace the beauty of becoming.
